My Metal Value ("we," "us," "our") operates mymetalvalue.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information you provide. If you contact us through a form on the Site, we receive the information you submit (such as your name, email address, and message).

Calculator inputs. The precious metals calculators on the Site run entirely in your browser. The values you enter (weight, karat, coin counts, etc.) are not transmitted to us or stored on our servers.

Analytics data. We use Independent Analytics, a privacy-friendly WordPress plugin that collects aggregated, anonymized visit data (such as page views, referring site, country, browser type, and device type). Independent Analytics does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not share data with third parties.

Advertising data. We display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to the Site or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form
  • Understand aggregate site usage and improve the Site
  • Display advertising that supports the Site

Third-party services

  • MetalpriceAPI supplies the spot prices shown by our calculators. Price data is fetched server-side; your browser does not communicate directly with MetalpriceAPI.
  • Google AdSense serves advertising on the Site. Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Hostinger hosts the Site and may collect standard server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) for security and operational purposes.

Cookies

The Site itself does not set tracking cookies. Cookies may be set by Google AdSense (for advertising) and by WordPress (for basic site functionality, such as when you submit a form). You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
